I was obsessed with shapes.
It started with squares. I would fill papers and color them with pastels.
I liked giving them shadows and shades. But they lacked concreteness.
The square is too perfect, abstract.
I moved on to cubes. In different perspectives and dimensions,
shadows and lines connected them.
With the acrylics came the circles.
My canvases filled with white, black and Prussian blue.
The circles were moving and crossing each other.
Fading in the background.
In my photos I often look for shapes, order and symmetries.
I never get tired of looking at them.
I don't think I like rhombuses though.
